About the Grant
There are many students and volunteers who would welcome an opportunity to participate in Destination Imagination. They simply need basic support for establishing teams.
The organization that brings you Destination Imagination in Tennessee is proud to again offer its Tennessee START A TEAM Grant Program. Tennessee Association, Inc., a non-profit organization, will award grants to schools and other organizations to support creation of Destination Imagination teams. We believe the grant program, along with the national START A TEAM initiative, will help bring the benefits of Destination Imagination participation to hundreds more Tennesseans. The Tennessee DI Board of Directors has renewed the grant program for the 2018-19 season.
Details and Application
Applying is easy! There are but four steps: (1) devise a Start a Team Plan; (2) a statement/justification of need; (3) the application form itself; and (4) a final report, submitted after your team’s last tournament. The team will be asked to develop a START A TEAM PLAN, which will pertain to team composition and recruitment and budgeting.
