Do you know a child who is creative, crazy about puzzles, loves to paint and draw, can build anything out of LEGOs or even just cardboard boxes, writes amazing stories, thinks up whimsical new worlds, has a flair for drama and acting, is totally into science, or has rewired the family toaster into a working time machine (or wants to?)
If so, you may just know a DI kid.
Each year, over 125,000 young people join small teams and participate in a unique program designed to be an outlet for their creativity and an opportunity to learn teamwork, problem solving skills, and more. Teams choose a challenge (technical, scientific, fine arts, improv, structural, or service), each designed to push their limits and inspire them to learn new skills. They work throughout the year, and present their solutions at regional, state, and global tournaments.
Join us on Wednesday, September 10th at 7:00pm in the Middle School Theater at Franklin Road Academy to learn more about Destination Imagination. You’ll hear how the program works and learn what it takes to start a team.
All area parents, educators, and school administrators are invited! RSVP is not necessary, but you can do so (and share this event) on our Facebook page for this event.
